Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and Handler Labs LLC (“BEO HQ,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), and they govern your use of beohq.com and the BEO HQ application (the “Service”). Please read the subscription and cancellation terms in Section 5 and the disclaimers in Sections 9 and 10 carefully.

1. Acceptance of these terms

By creating an account, subscribing, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you are using the Service on behalf of a business, you represent that you are authorized to bind that business, and “you” includes that business.

2. Eligibility and your account

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account, and you agree to provide accurate information and to keep it current. Tell us promptly at the contact address below if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

3. The service

BEO HQ is a document-preparation tool that helps you create banquet event orders, proposals, contracts, invoices, quotes, and related documents from event details you provide, and share and collect signatures on those documents. We may add, change, or remove features over time.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service for anything unlawful, not to attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service, not to upload content you do not have the right to use, and not to use the Service to send unsolicited or unlawful communications. You are responsible for the content you create and send.

5. Subscriptions, automatic renewal, and cancellation

The Service offers a free plan and paid subscription plans (currently Starter and Pro), billed monthly or annually through Stripe. Paid plans may begin with a free trial. By starting a paid subscription you expressly agree to the following automatic renewal terms, which we also present to you before you check out:

• Automatic renewal. Your subscription automatically renews at the end of each billing period (each month or each year, depending on the plan you choose) and continues until you cancel.
• Recurring charge. At the start of each period we charge your payment method the then-current price for your plan ($19/month or $190/year for Starter, and $39/month or $390/year for Pro at the time these Terms take effect), plus any applicable taxes, until you cancel.
• Free trials. If your plan includes a free trial, we will begin charging the recurring fee when the trial ends unless you cancel before then.
• How to cancel. You can cancel at any time, on your own, entirely online: open Settings, then Billing in the Service and use the “Manage billing” portal, or email us at hello@beohq.com. Cancellation stops future charges. You keep access to paid features until the end of the period you have already paid for, and we do not provide prorated refunds for a partial period except as described in Section 6 or as required by law.
• Price changes. We may change subscription prices. We will give you advance notice by email before a change applies to your renewals, and the new price takes effect on your next renewal after the notice. If you do not agree, you may cancel before the change takes effect.
• Failed payments. If a charge fails, we may retry it and may suspend or downgrade your account until payment succeeds.

6. 30-day money-back guarantee

If BEO HQ is not right for you, email hello@beohq.com within 30 days of the first charge on your first paid subscription and we will refund that payment in full, no questions asked. The refund is returned to your original payment method, and your subscription ends when the refund is issued. The guarantee applies once per customer and covers your first subscription purchase only; later charges, renewals, and repeat subscriptions are not covered. Except for this guarantee, and except where the law requires otherwise, fees already paid are non-refundable.

7. Your content and intellectual property

You keep all rights to the content you create with the Service (your business details, clients, menus, events, and the documents you generate). You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display that content only as needed to operate the Service for you, including rendering your documents and delivering shared links you send. We own the Service itself, including our software, design, and brand; nothing in these Terms transfers those rights to you.

8. Third-party services

The Service relies on third parties such as Stripe for payments and Supabase, Vercel, and Cloudflare for infrastructure. Your use of features powered by a third party may be subject to that party's terms, and we are not responsible for third-party services we do not control.

9. Disclaimers

BEO HQ is a document-preparation tool and does not provide legal, financial, or tax advice. Catering contracts and financial terms should be reviewed by you, and for contract language by an attorney, before you use them. Templates and default clauses are a starting point only, all data is user-supplied, and you are responsible for the accuracy of the documents you produce. The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Handler Labs LLC and its officers, employees, and suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or one hundred U.S. dollars. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Handler Labs LLC harmless from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or of any law or third-party right.

12. Termination

You may stop using the Service and cancel at any time as described in Section 5. We may suspend or terminate your account if you materially breach these Terms or use the Service in a way that risks harm to us or others. You can export your data before closing your account, and provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 6 through 11 and 14) will survive.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If a change is material, we will update the effective date above and notify you in the Service or by email before it takes effect. Your continued use of the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.

14. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and you and we agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located there for any dispute that is not otherwise resolved, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction. Nothing in these Terms limits any right you have that cannot be waived under the law of your home jurisdiction.

15. General

These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
